Pointe Pest Control Awards Three Scholarships

July 12, 2016: Pointe Pest Control has awarded three scholarships to outstanding students in Washington, Idaho and Oregon for the 2015-2016 school year.

2016 is the second year for the Pointe Pest Control Scholarship Program. “At Pointe Pest Control we believe in giving back to the communities we serve and this is just one of the ways we can accomplish our mission;” said Jacob Borg, President of Pointe Pest Control.

Scholars were selected based on academics, scholastic achievements, extra curricular activities and financial need. Scholars received a check for $750 to use as needed for their college expenses.

The winners are:

• For Idaho: Jainy Anderson of Post Falls High School.
• For Oregon: Justin More of Crescent Valley High School.
• For Washington: Megan Johnson of Hanford High School.

Jainy Anderson:

Jainy Anderson
Valedictorian, Yearbook Editor and Spirit Club President are just a few of Jainy’s huge list of accomplishments. In addition , she was a member of the Varsity Golf Team, Varsity Cheerleading Squad and an Idaho Top Scholar in 2015. Jainy plans to continue her education this fall at the University of Rochester, where she’ll be studying Epidemiology.

Justin More:

Justin More
As a member of the Varsity Golf Team and the National Honor Society, Justin has excelled in both sports and academics. He has a natural love of history and plans to become a High School History Teacher.

Megan Johnson:

Megan Johnson
Megan is a Valedictorian with a passion for learning. As a First Place finisher in the Cavalcade of Authors Short Story Contest, Megan has also demonstrated her equally passionate love of writing. She plans to attend BYU this fall with a focus on English. She hopes to become a High School Teacher where she can instill her passions into future generations of students.
