The difference between wasps and bees
Bees are often mistaken for wasps because both deliver painful stings. The difference is that bees only sting if provoked, where wasps are more predatory and aggressive thus wasp attacks are more common. Wasps also have narrow waists and make nests of paper where bees have a shorter, thicker abdomen and make nests of wax. Wasps cannot produce honey, while bees do. Wasps build their nests in attics, chimneys, under the eaves of your roof, and any place that’s dry and hidden.
